Driving Auburn through the Street of Las Vegas

I had no idea that someone took this photo till

my phone started to "blow-up".

I took the Auburn out for a "Special Photo shoot with the

Mayor of Las Vegas". 

The cat is almost out of the bag.

My Auburn Dream Car 19 years ago, today

It was 19 years ago today that I trailered my 1935 Auburn 851 Supercharged Boattail Speedster home to Seattle, Washington from Murdo, South Dakota, and crashed my niece's birthday party.  I have two very important reasons for remembering today's date.

Auburn and Duesenbergs

1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster, touring Las Vegas, NV and surrounding areas

I took my girl out for a drive on Feb 7th, 2015, and I came across these man-made falls at Lake Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Looked like a nice place to park for some photos,

and the weather here was just perfect!!

 Then I drove my girl up to the Valley of Fire,

through the Lake Mead National Park.

I drove the Auburn all around the Lake Mead National Park, then up through the Valley of Fire State Park.  When I got home that afternoon, I had drove my girl over 200 miles!!!
