1935 Auburn Speedster

I love this 1935 Auburn Speedster!!
The photos don't show the beautiful white-wall tires
with the ribs on them.
I've never seen these kind of tires before,
I think I would like to put a set of these tires on my Auburn.
If I can find them!!!

1937 Cord Speedster

I saw this beautiful 1937 Red Coffin-Nose Cord Speedster,
at this Auto Museum in Laughlin, Neveda.
And, for all you ACD Experts,
you should know what's wrong with it.
I would love to hear from everyone,
to see what you think of this 1937 Cord Speedster.
I personally love the car, and if the Auburn Automobile Company would have continued building cars,
I bet they would have done this!!!

1907 Baker Electric

Here's a 1907 Baker Electric auto,
that a friend of mine had just purchased.
I hadn't put much thought into the old electric autos,
but they are really cool.
Kind of funny how fashion and auto run in full circles.
100 years later we are exploring the use of
"Battery Operated Autos"

1937 Cord

This 1937 Cord is in Orange, California.
We quickly cleaned her up to go for a spin.
Getting rides from friends in their
Auburns and Cords, is so much fun!!
I love traveling the United States to see what my friends
have in their garages.

1935 Auburn Chassis and Engine

This is my Auburn's engine and chassis when it was on
display at the car show in Forest Grove, Oregon in July, 2000.
The Auburn sure has come a long way since then,
and we still have a ways to go.

Overland Cars Garage

Photo taken around 1918.
This was my Great-Grandfather's garage in Sanish, North Dakota.
If you look inside the garage, you can see a baby in a stroller,
and a 1915 Buick parked out front.

1915 Buick

This is a family photo taken in 1919
The love of autos must run in the family.
The boy (my grandfather) behind the wheel was named after a
racecar driver of the day, Robert Burman.
Robert Burman and Ab Jenkins were racecar drivers and friends.

I didn't know that "Dumpster Diving" would be so much fun.

Auburn Cord Lady with a Glenn Pray 8/10s Cord

Rare Sunny day in Tacoma, Washington in February 2010.
Great day to take a cruz in the Glenn Pray 8/10s Cord.
Any time of year the sun comes out in Western Washington,
we take the classic cars out for a spin.
This day was about 38 degrees.

Auburn Cord Lady in a Dual Cowl Auburn

I said I wanted my picture with Glenn.
This photo was the BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT.

1954 All Original Chevrolet Corvette

July 2011
She's not an Auburn, Cord, or a Duesenberg
But, my 1954 All Original Chevrolet Corvette
never gets kicked out of a car show.
On this day, the car won a 6 foot trophy for
"Best All Original" car.
At this show in Puyallup, WA there were just over 700 cars.

Auburn Award for "Special Interest Automobile"

The Auburn won an award for "Special Interest Automobile"
in the Summer of 2010.
The car's front end was still off the car,
so she still looked like some kind of "Hotrod".
