1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale

Spring 1983,  Harrah's Car Collection
Sparks, Nevada
Out of all the cars at the Harrah's Car Collection, I wanted my photo next to this 1931 Bugatti.  At the time this photos was taken,
the car was valued at $5 Million.
I knew then I had expensive taste for cars.

1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster

My 1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster June 1996.
After several years looking for an Auburn Boattail Speedster,
I found this one for sale in Murdo, South Dakota at a museum.
I bought the car knowing I would do a complete restoration.

My goal is to take everyone on the ride of their lives through my Blogg, with the cars I come across throughout the United States.  I am passionate about the cars I own, the 1935 Auburn Boat tail Speedster rebodied by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Company, and my 1954 Corvette.

I go to cars shows as often as possible, meet other people at their garages, car shows, etc, to see what Classic autos they own.  I travel the across the country visiting museums.

I'm starting with the day I brought home my 1935 Auburn, and the process of slowly restoring a classic car.  We are currently 15 years into the Auburn, with still some time to go to get the car completed.  The 1954 Corvette is an all original car, with constant maintance to keep her purring perfectly.

Currently we are in an Off-Season for showing the cars, but this is when the work gets done on the cars, so we are ready when the weather gets nice.  I thought I would use this off-season to get the Blogg up and running, and get the history of what I have been doing for the past 20+ years with the Classic Cars.
